Facts to know before you book your rafting trip:

• Age Limit: Candidates should lie within the range of ages 15 and 55 years.
• Weight Limit: It will lie between 40kg to 100 kg; however, the weight will be in proportion to the height. For example, one who stands at a height of 6 feet, weighed at 100kg is acceptable. However, if he/ she stands at 5 feet and has the weight as 100kg, then it would not be fit.
• Health Conditions: People should be fit with an active lifestyle. The following medical conditions are excluded as it may be risky for them: people suffering from heart diseases, bypass surgeries, epilepsy, or acute asthma, etc.
• Asthma Precautions: For mild asthma patients, they can attend the tour, but they must carry their inhalers along with themselves and inform the guide in advance.
• Costume: Rafting costumes include quick-drying clothes like shorts, T-shirts, slacks, or nylon tights. Participants should avoid wearing saris, skirts, or burkas.
• Traffic Alert: On weekends, traffic is a major problem in Rishikesh. Those coming from Delhi, Haridwar, or Dehradun should preplan and reach the office at Tapovan-Luxman Jhula with an extra 2-3 hours put on from the total time required.

Cancelation Policy for Day Rafting trips

• Cancelled 48 hours or more prior to arrival: 90% of the total fee paid will be refunded.
• All cancellation made more than or equal to 24 hours before will be allowed 50% of the total amount refunded.
• Cancellation policy due to less than 24 hours or no-show: The guest should be charged the full amount for his stay; in this case, no refund would be given.

What is included in the tour

• Transport: Office-to-office transport, from start to end point, and back to the office.
• Rafting Equipments: All necessary rafting gear including imported life jackets, helmets, paddles, and wet suits, which are available during winter season from Dec. to March.
• Safety: There is always a safety kayaker escort to all trips.

What is NOT included in the tour

• Rafting Video : The cost of the rafting video is INR 1500 for one raft (8 persons in one raft).
• Personal expenses: All the personal expenses are not covered in the tour package.
