Rafting from Marine Drive to NIM Beach in Rishikesh is technically not 26 km, but all the operators refer to it as such. By river, it is around 16–17 kilometres long and takes 2.5–3 hours to finish.Almost ten grade III and grade III+ rapids, called for their respective types of rapids, may be found along this stretch of water. The Three Blind Mice is a grade III rapid so-called because, up until three rapids that follow each other quite closely, the water looks to be almost calm. The additional rapids (III) are Club House (III), Golf Course (III+), Roller Coaster (III+), and Cross Fire (III).
The expedition starts with a 45- to 1-hour drive to the starting location, when rafts and other equipment are set up and a proper safety briefing is given. It's crucial to keep in mind that this is a rather easy stretch, even though our guides will be able to handle any unforeseen hydraulic or big wave that may come along at any point. Rafting down the river takes roughly two to three hours total, though in December and January it might take up to four hours.
